Department of Infection Control and Prevention

The Department of Infection Control and Prevention at University Hospitals of Cleveland coordinates efforts to prevent and control nosocomial infection. We perform surveillance and documentation of nosocomial infection, offer consultation on infection control issues and oversee policy and procedure development. We also provide educational programs to improve patient care and comply with regulatory agencies. We have input in many areas of hospital functions through committee membership.
