Fellows Conference.
Faculty members or selected speakers provide comprehensive discussions of
infectious diseases topics weekly. The conferences are scheduled in three-year
cycles, covering clinical, microbiological and pharmacologic areas. Time: Monday, 12:00 –1:00 pm Location: Foley 306 Infectious Diseases Case Conference.
These conferences are designed to increase awareness of recent advances in the
diagnosis and management of infectious diseases. Clinical cases are selected
from the adult and pediatric consultation services and outpatient rotations and
presented weekly to faculty, fellows, and house staff. Time: Tuesday, 4:00 – 5:30 pm Check monthly calendar City-Wide Infectious Diseases Conference.
This is a monthly conference rotating among hospital sites involving Infectious
Diseases specialists from area hospitals. Interesting clinical cases are
selected from various hospitals and presented to faculty, fellows, and house
staff. Conferences are held the 3rd
Thursday of each month (schedule to follow)
ID Journal Club.
A bimonthly conference providing review of recent literature and controversies
in clinical infectious diseases. Discussions are led by faculty members and
fellows in a lunchtime forum. Time: 1st and 3rd

A weekly conference of research in infectious diseases involving nationally
known and local speakers. Time: Wednesday,

AIDS Research and Care Seminar runs bi-monthly at University Hospitals. Invited
guest speakers as well as CWRU faculty members and researchers present cutting
edge topics of interest to both the clinical and basic research aspects of
HIV/AIDS. Time: 1st and 3rd
