The continued development of novel antimicrobials provides us with potential new weapons in our armamentarium for emerging infectious diseases. Decisions regarding additions of these new agents to our hospital formularies are challenging particularly in view of their costs. We host a quarterly regional program entitled "Northeast Ohio Infectious Diseases Roundtable" to stimulate discussion about new available antibiotics and emerging infectious diseases. This program is intended for Infectious Diseases Physicians and Pharmacists, but all healthcare professionals are invited. Tuition is free, but limited to seating capacity. Attendance is by pre-registration only. All programs are held at The College Club of Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, OH.
